It’s early days, but we’re already excited about 2024. Before we share more of that, we want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey of 2023. Last year was extraordinary for KAEME, so we are thrilled to share our highlights with you because we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.
Presenting the KAEME Showroom
The month of March marked the opening of our new showroom at Airport Residential Area, Accra. It’s also home to the KAEME team, who bond over breakfast and strategy meetings. Our new showroom is a sign of more incredible things to come (hint hint), a haven where the essence of KAEME is showcased, and another step to bringing our vision for luxurious from-Ghana-to-the-world skincare to life.
Welcome back, Brown University!
We also had the joy of hosting Brown University in March. As one of the leading US Ivy League research universities, Brown University emphasizes problem-solving, service, and work that makes an impact. We share their ethos and treasure opportunities we had to share the KAEME story, our passion for wholesome luxury, and our initiatives to foster a community of learning, growth, and inspiration.

In November 2023, KAEME proudly received woman-owned, minority-owned, and small business status on Amazon. This endorsement reminds us that we are small but mighty, and our investment in building a diverse, inclusive, innovative, and empowering business is worth all it takes.
Building our dream factory
June ushered in the commencement of KAEME’s new factory project. Construction is underway, and we are working hard to get it up and running on schedule. Our factory project is a testament to our commitment to excellence and growth as we ensure that KAEME products continue to meet—and exceed—your expectations. We are enhancing our production capabilities to meet higher demand in a more environmentally conscious way and expanding our capacity to deliver on our promise of world-class quality. We’ll bring more updates your way as our dream for a green factory materialises.
A VIP visit
September witnessed a momentous visit from Manuyoo’s co-founder Dr. Jan-Marc Lischka. We support the Berlin company’s mission to foster fair trade between European and African countries and admire its radical approach to promoting exciting young African brands. As one of Manuyoo’s “best made-in-Africa brands” and the only one that offers skincare products in its marketplace, we valued the opportunity Jan-Marc’s visit presented to strengthen our relationship.
Skincare Brand of the Year (again)
#KAEMELovers, you led us to the top of Ghana’s skincare rankings for the second time! In November, we were crowned the Skincare Brand of the Year at the Ghana Beauty Awards. This accolade is an honour and a testament to your unwavering support. The KAEME team sincerely appreciates you.
New Restaurant Partnerships
In 2023, we welcomed several restaurants to the KAEME family. You can now experience our premium liquid hand soap, sanitiser and repellents whenever you visit these illustrious restaurants in Accra.
KAEME x ACA for Juaso
Our project with Advocates for Community Alternatives (ACA) in the community of Juaso in Ghana’s Eastern Region is very dear to us. It is a collaborative effort that goes beyond skincare, embodying the spirit of community and sustainability. After years of planning, fundraising, and execution, the people of Juaso are ready to begin producing black soap. This initiative will significantly improve their livelihoods by providing a reliable source of income to the hardworking farming community threatened by land encroachment. We’ll tell you more about this project in due course.
