ABOUT THE ROLE

KAEME is searching for a Creative Storyteller, a voice, a thinker, and an idea generator who can turn our craft, community, and culture into compelling stories.

We are not looking for a “social media manager” or a content person. We are looking for a story brain.

You’ll craft narratives, write scripts, shape captions, spark concepts, and work side-by-side with our in-house team to bring KAEME’s heart to life online..

This is a full-time in-person role. If you love creating from behind a laptop somewhere else, this position is not for you. We need someone who wants to be present in the office, at the factory, and in the field capturing real moments with our team.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

• Crafting original story ideas, hooks, and narrative concepts
• Writing scripts for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and mini-docs
• Developing scroll-stopping captions and copy
• Ideating creative campaigns and storytelling series
• Capturing phone content on-site when needed
• Working closely with our videographer to execute creative ideas
• Engaging with customers in KAEME’s warm, intentional voice
• Translating our values, community, craft, sustainability, into stories people feel
• Managing KAEME’s social media platforms and nurturing our online community

WHAT YOU WILL NOT DO

• Full video editing (we have a videographer)
• Heavy camera operation (unless simple phone content)
• Remote work, this is an on-site role

• A natural storyteller who feels in color, emotion, and metaphor
• A sharp writer who knows how to hook an audience
• An idea engine, always thinking in stories
• Culturally aware and emotionally intuitive
• Obsessed with narrative, aesthetics, and meaning
• Comfortable working shoulder-to-shoulder within a team
• Someone who understands that premium brands require intentionality
• Based in Accra and ready to work in person
