Your earliest milestone projects will include establishing our new factory; spear-heading the creation of our new experience center; facilitating brand partnerships in Ghana’s hospitality sector; and managing international sales via Amazon. 

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of KAEME, you will partner the CEO to lead all aspects of the company’s operations to ensure efficiency and growth. You will also oversee business and marketing functions to effectively maximize production, sales and profitability against key milestones. Our preferred candidate is a person with 15+ years of senior business management experience who is willing to support an SME to become a global brand by partnering with the CEO to drive the KAEME vision. You:

• Have excellent leadership skills with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
• Understand advanced business planning and regulatory issues and have a solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
• Have the ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues. 
• Have international business and fundraising experience.
• Enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders and optimizing resources to achieve goals.
• Are fluent in spoken and written French (a huge plus).

• Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operations strategy, and hiring levels
• Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, and implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning
• Oversee company operations and employee productivity while strengthening a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and meet organizational goals 
• Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
• Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate
