Kaeme, your favorite skin care company is going pink this October for Breast Cancer Awareness. October, is globally known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The breast Cancer awareness month helps to increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection and treatment as well as palliative care of this disease.

There are about 1.38 million new cases and 458,000 deaths from Breast Cancer each year (IARC Globocan, 2008). Cancer of the Breast is by far the most common cancer in women worldwide, both in the developed and developing countries. In low-and middle income countries, the incidence has been rising up steadily in the last years. Among the causes of this increase include; increase in life expectancy, increase urbanization and adoption of western lifestyles.

When it comes to the causes of breast cancer, there is no sufficient knowledge in that regard. However, early detection of the disease remains a key factor in breast cancer control.

It is in this vein that Kaeme is going pink this October. All through this month, we will be dedicating all our online activities to breast cancer awareness. On all our Social Media Pages, we will be going pink, to express moral support to women with Breast Cancer
